Comments Requested on Draft NOX BACT Guidance (08/17/00)

EPA is requesting public comments on a preliminary draft of its pending BACT guidance document for NOX control on dry low NOX combined-cycle turbines. The Agency is particularly interested in comments regarding whether selective catalytic reduction (SCR) represents the appropriate best available control technology (BACT) for NOX on natural gas-fired combined-cycle turbines. EPA will be taking comments on the draft guidance until 30 days after a notice of availability is published in the Federal Register.
